Last week (having finally persuaded BT to cancel my home broadband with no charge - as it was useless speeds), I bought a 30-Day rolling Data Sim from EE with 30GB per month limit.
It appears that after only 5 days, this data has all been used, although we have only used the MiFi for iplayer (about 4 programmes of an hour each), Spotify and Facebook!!
We don't use it for gaming or anything particularly Data-hungry...?
I am confused and dont appear to have anyway to check, even on a daily usage basis, so that I can narrow down where the data is being eaten up?

So much for unlimited usage fixed BB!

BT sells that.
Why cancel BT BB before trying out MBB? Speeds can often be improved with a little investigation.

Welcome to the EE Community.
Streaming video can use large chunks of your data. You can lower the amount of data used by watching in standard definition rather than HD.
The same goes with music, in your Spotify app you can specify the streaming quality. The lower the quality, the less data you will use.
We also offer mobile broadband plans with up to 200GB of data.
Hope this helps.
