I have a 4gee action cam and on the app it is stating that I need to update it.
when going to the update settings it is telling me network not available.
Can you please tell me how I can do the update?

@Jamile If you want to update it yes. The update is a OTA update this is not done over wifi and through a phone/tablet. The camera needs to have cellular connection to update its firmware.
Once its updated you can take it back out, I’ve used my phone SIM card before.

Thanks i'll try it.
i am asking because when I am trying to save the images from the phone app , the app just closes so it is not letting me.
I am not sure if it is because it is not updated

I am trying to save images to my phone from the app but when I try the app it just closes so it is not working.
What can I do please?
I really wish ti save them to my phone.

I didn't try doing the Sim yet.
my problem is that it is not letting me save images from the app to my phone. When I am pressing save image the app just closes.

@Chris_B I have the same issue. I found here that it's maybe the problem that I had to put a simcard in it. So I removed the delivered card in it and took my cellphone card after removing the pincode on it.
Now when I perform an update directly onto the action cam, I receive first the message " searching for update " after 1 second followed by the message "UP TO DATE".
Even after that, when using the App to go live, I received the message : " Please Upgrade your camera to the latest firmware "
The App version is 1.0.56
The cam firmware is : V01.021.07.G_02.
Please can you provide me a solution because I received the cam two days ago and need it on 1 and 2 september for a 24h karting event.
