"Free Wifi" text - 247

I am an EE (Orange) Pay-as-you-go user (and have been for over a decade).

Today I received this text from 247 and have no idea what it's talking about:

"Free Wi-Fi will stop in 5 days time so we'll reduce your credit by £5/mth from that date. To opt out, text STOPWIFI to 247. See terms orange.co.uk/mobileterms"

I have not (to my knowledge) had any 'free wifi' from EE. I am on PAYG with the Dolphin pack (Data and Texts) and I use any extra credit for calls.

I don't know if it's a genuine text from EE/Orange, a mistake, or spam/phishing?

EDIT: It looks like another user had an identical problem a year ago.

Hello @wglinden have you ever been on the Orange PAYG iPhone plan? This came with 12months free BT WiFi access (page 18):

Due to this being a public user forum access to accounts is not allowed to check why you have received this text through here. Please call customer service on 450 from your Orange phone or 07973 100 450 from any other who can look into this for you. 🙂
