mobile data not working

My mobile data has stopped working. I have checked on my account that I have data left (4GB+). I have turned my device on and off again. I have checked mobile data is switched on and apps are ticked to use mobile data.

I can send texts and make calls. I cannot use safari or any other apps without Wifi. 

The top left of my phone (Iphone 6S) shows signal bars and 4G. 

The error message I get when I try to use safari is "Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found"

I have searched my location, there are no reported network problems in the area. 

Help please!

Welcome to the community.


It sounds like you've tried quite a few things already!


Have you tried completing a reset of the network settings?


This is done by going to settings, general, reset, then reset network settings.


A network reset will erase any saved WiFi passwords, but not delete any data from your phone.
