how do I boost 4g signal when get 3g and 4g now and then ? 4g okay 100 metres aw

Hi

We have 4G now and then at home, with 3G also not perfect.

However 100 metres away I get full on 4G.

HOW do I legally boost the signal? as want to use 4G broadband as BT broadband is really slow.

Cheers

Kevin

The following items work very well for me in precisely the circumstances you describe, although I think I'm further away from a usable 4G signal that you. I get c. 50Mbps down and 25Mbps up when the mast is working properly. Sadly, the mast near to me is pretty flaky, but this is a network issue and not down to the hardware.

You cannot boost the signal in any way sorry.  All you could possibly do is buy an external aerial if your device / router / modem has an external aerial socket.

Hi Thanks for the reply:

I've not purchased anything yet from EE, so the question is do EE sell a router / device and aerial that I could try out. As just checking and if we stand at end of garden - 30 foot from house the 4G is good. So doesn't need aerial to be too far out from house. Where can I buy the router and aerial - as not seen on EE site 🙂 Thanks Kevin  p.s. on google search I found devices that do boost the 4G ( or say they do - are they legal or really of use !? - prefer idea of aerial ). Thanks Kev
