data doesn’t work after putting it in to mobile WiFi device in spain

Just uploaded data to mobile data sim to use on TP-link in Spain.

Inserted card into device,but still can’t get connected to use my data.

The TP-link works ok with the data sim back in the Uk,but won’t locate an internet connection when I’m in Spain.

can anyone share some help.

Hi James...
No I haven’t...I was just hoping that the sim would log in automatically,as it says on the pack!
EE have updated my SIM and it still won’t connect to internet.
I’ve been on to the management page on my TP-link router,and it says its connecting,but it keeps buffering!
My data internet is turned on,as is the data roaming on the TP-link device.....
I had this sim and TP-link from my friend.The ownership of the sim has been transferred to my name.Inworked perfectly well when he had it.
Strangely,my friend next door to me has exactly the same issues as I do...he also had his device from a friend,and also transferred ownership of the sim to his name!
He can’t connect either.

Just for info....I have excellent signal on the router.

@Rob1957   Did you enable roaming for  the account that this sim is on ?  You can do this yourself from within the account settings under manage this device.

Hi..thanks for reply.
Do you mean the SIM card roaming settings.
Just to clarify..it’s a Stand alone data sim,which I’ve inserted to my TP-link device.
I’ve downloaded the TO-link app to my apple phone.
My iPhone and TP-link are connected,but it says I have not go an internet connection.
Tried re-booting device,and restoring factory settings on TP-link box,but no joy.

@Rob1957   The sim is on an account that account needs roaming enabled on it.

Checked with EE,and roaming is set up on the sim account ...EE seem to think that the problem is with TP Link settings!
