Why won't my 4G connect as 4G

For a while now I have had the 4G symbol on my phone but when it tries to connect to the Internet it doesn't work as 4G in fact it doesn't work at all, I'm wondering if this is a problem with the phone or with the help network itself, it has been happening for a long time now

  • What phone do you have? 
  • Are you an EE pay monthly customer or PAYG 

Does this issue in one location or in all locations home and away?

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Hi I have a galaxylophone s6 edge and it happens in all locations also I am an EE pay monthly customer with the phone on contract

Is this a permanent issue or does it work some of the time?

If this happens in more than one location then try clearing the cache under recovery. If this still doesn't work then try factory resetting your phone. 

 

If this still doesn't work then contact Samsung mobile support here.
