Why will 4g not allow certain apps to work on my s9?

When I am not connected to WiFi and use my 4g certain apps will not work fully for example on WhatsApp I can't send photos but I can write and send messages and receive messages but can't receive photos. Facebook will not work at all unless it's connected to WiFi. Also many other apps are the same and will do nothing unless in non WiFi. Any suggestions?

Could it be your Switching Content Lock OFF or ON ? Content Lock is reset ON with new & upgraded phones & often blocks social sites.

Hi @Danieljamesbuck

  • Have you disabled sync or are you blocking syncing of data?
  • Is 4G active?
  • Haved you disabled content block (log into your online account - menu - manage devices)

Thanks,
