Why does a 30 day Data Pass expire early ?

Bought an additional 30 day 10GB data pass for my daughter whilst she went travelling in Europe.

Bought July 19th, still has 4.9GB left, but expired August 6th

Why?

Seems a bit of a con if you ask me

@leedshippriest  When does her billing cycle start each month? As these passes are for 30 days or until your billing cycle starts again what ever is the sooner.

Re: Why does a 30 day Data Pass expire early ?

Hi, thanks for quick reply

Billing refreshed today

Not really good that it expires early like this, a 30 day pass should be exactly that

After all, it's not really like data costs a great deal, and usually I'd imagine they are bought to coincide with holidays abroad etc

I've had one in past (not sure if before I came onto EE) which used all the Extra Data into first few days of new Billing Period, then when used up started with normal Data Allowance

It's the sort of thing that makes ypu think twice when it comes around to Contract Renewal time

Thanks again

@leedshippriest  It does state this before you purchase any extra data.
