Why do I have 4g full signal yet very slow service

I pay for the 4GEE max plan which is supposed to be the fastest 4G network in the UK. But in Bridgwater I have full 4g signal but it is slower than dial up. Any ideas?

@Jgboy123 Have you tried clearing any background apps from running and also restarting the device.  It sounds crazy but electronic devices do like to be switched off and restarted from time to time.

Network speeds are also dependent on how many other users are using the sane mast as you,   If a mast in your area is having issues then all traffic is moved to the next local mast and this puts a strain on that mast so effectively reducing the over all network speeds as everyone else is using the same mast.  I’m not saying that’s the issue but it could be a factor on your network speed.

Have you checked the Network Status Checker  ?
