Why can't I make a WhatsApp call, Fb Messenger call or other social media calls

Why can't I make a WhatsApp call, Facebook Messenger call or other social media call using EE SIM data? Its failed to connected.

 

I have done the followings since April 2019,

 

0) I have use four different phone

1) I have changed sim cards

2) Uninstalled all the social media Apps and re downloaded the Apps

3) Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

4) Reset app preferences

5) Erase all data (factory reset)

6) I have allowed the App permission e.g microphone

7) I have visited different places see if work in different place

 

I’m able to use EE sim data for Youtube And Chrome but not social media app’s.

 

Also, If I use Wifi or different sim card then everything's work perfect including social media app's.

 

Unfortunately, it's not working, Can someone please help me out from this problem because I'm paying £39.96 pounds a month for nothing and EE failed to help me out from this matter and still, I have 7 months contract left to change the network

 

EE told me that nothing wrong on EE side.

 

EE advice me to contact all the social media Apps

 

EE failed to understand me, and EE adviser didn’t transfer the call to manager.

 

I did buy a sim contract with VOXI sim card and social media app’s is working.

 

I’m very upset with EE customer service.

It could be Switching Content Lock OFF or ON . It is switched on on new contracts/upgrades & seems to affect social sites.

Did you get a chance to check your Content Lock settings as @XRaySpeX suggested?

 

Can you let me know which phone you are using at the moment and if you bought it on a pay monthly contract directly through EE?

I have switched content lock off and on.

I have try both of them.

 

Still, same issue. It's doesn't work.

Currently, I'm using the Moto G7 Power.

 

I bought as a monthly contract from EE website with Samsung S8 Plus(my has been stolen)

 

Same problem, I had with S8 Plus.

 

I can confirm that nothing wrong with phones because I have put the SIM to different phones, it same issues.

@Mdiamrulalom357  It can take up to 24 hours for account changes to take effect.  You’ll also receive a text from EE stating the account change.

Hi @Mdiamrulalom357 

 

Did you verify your number on what'sapp?

 

If you are using a new SIM it maybe it's still showing the number allocated to that SIM, not your mobile number.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

It not only WhatsApp.

 

Even I can't call to a friend using Facebook messenger and others soical media app calls.

 

Yes, I have verified the WhatsApp with my number.

 

I really upset with this matter because I'm paying £39:96 a month until January 2020.

I would get in touch with our tech gurus.

 

They will be able to check your account settings if you are sure the issue is with the SIM card.

I'm 100% sure that it is issues with my SIM card only because When I put different EE SIM card, soical media app call work perfect.

 

One of  advisor have tried some things still same issues with calling.

EE technical support team has tried lots of different settings on their side.

 

EE technical Staff failed for this solution.

 

It is very complicated issue.

SIM data is allowed,

 

I can sent WhatsApp messengs but not able to make call.
