Why can’t I gift data to linked account despite having plenty of data left?

Got gifting option on the App but my account is greyed out so win’t let me complete process

Is the plan you are trying to gift to eligible for data gifting?

 

Are you registered in My EE as the bill payer?

How do I know? Both are pay monthly contracts and I have the 100GB package

Does the other number on your account have any data left?

 

When you log into your My EE does this show as bill payer?

 

You can change this as below:

 

How to update the main user settings:

  1. In My EE, select the Device you would like to update
  2. Select the link which shows Manage this device
  3. Select the tab Device usage controls.

I am the bill payer and I have data left- there is a button next to my son’s account saying gift data but when I try I am greyed out

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the MyEE app to see if this assists?
