Why won’t my mobile date work? I’ve just been outside of the house and my snapchat and WhatsApp won’t work.. but it’s working fine when I’m connected to wifi

Hi Leanne,
I’m during the iPhone 8 Plus. Yeah texts and calls were working it was my mobile data that wasn’t but it’s fine when I’m connected to WiFi.

@Amerie910  Have you allowed the app  to use cellular data ?  Is cellular data enabled?  Are these the only apps that don’t work over cellular data ?

All of my browser WhatsApp Facebook snapchat.. there all not working.

@Amerie910  is the device in Airplane Mode ?   Is cellular data enabled on the device  ?

Have you bought a PAYG pack or add-on? With EE PAYG you may only use data with one; you cannot buy data directly out your credit.

 

Text AL to 150 to see if you have any data allowance.

 

What does http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status when not connected to WiFi report?

Yeah it’s worked before I got a new sim card today and it hasn’t worked since?

Yeah a bought a pack today with it and downloaded the my EE and it says I’ve still got all my data and everything
