When my data gets low to the 1/2gb area, I constantly get disconnected

Hi everyone.

Does anybody else find that when their data gets low everything that needs data stops working?

I’ve just used 100mb reloading a page even though I’m “not connected”.

Extremely frustrating especially since I’m trying to make a birthday card and each time it disconnects it deletes all the photos I’ve uploaded

Thanks 🙂

@Krissielm   The amount of data you have has no bearing on the connection.

Are you using an app or a internet site when this happens ?

Hi, I would have assumed that, but it’s been reoccurring every month since I joined EE in January.

I find it mostly happening in the internet when trying to load webpages but it gets really bad when my data is below 1GB.

thanks for your reply

Hi @Krissielm.

Welcome to the community 🙂

Have you had any texts from EE about reaching your 100% usage when this happens or is it before that?

Are you in an area of good coverage when this happens?

Jon

Hi, yes I get a text saying I’ve used 80% of my data or thereabouts. For the next few days I struggle to get a strong connection. Until I reach low data, my connection is always strong. Thanks 🙂

Good Morning @Krissielm

The message above is blank.

Do you receive any text messages from EE about reaching 100% usage when this happens?

Katie 🙂
