I have just taken out a ee unlimited data sim and was wondering if the following would work

if I was to take out a cheap 500mb sim and data gift 100gb data from my unlimited data sim to this

would I be able to use this sim in a mobile broadband router or does it have to be a data and tablet sim?

Re: Sims

Yes, you may use any SIM in a mobile BB router; doesn't have to be a data SIM.

They both need to be on contract, not PAYG, under the same MyEE family a/c to gift data. See Gift Your Data and Set Controls .
