Shared data

Hi All,

 

I’ve got 2 plans on my 1 account. An iPhone 7+ and an iPhone X. 

I have 10gb of data on my iPhone 7+ plan and 100gb on my new iPhone plan. This should be shared between my two devices but my iPhone 7+ is now not connecting to the internet as it has used up its 10gb. 

 

Why is it not sharing the other 100gb from my other plan?

@JACKSON1  These are not shared tariffs as they have their own allowances.  A shared tariff is only one allowance that both or more devices can use. 

 

 But you can gift data to the other device.   Up date the my EE app and go to family usage.

You need to gift data to your other phone number.

Ive tried to follow those steps but there’s nowhere in the app that says Family Usage...?

 

And isn’t “gifting” different to a shared allowance?

Please update your app 1st. You can share your data with only share sim as your other phone already have Data you can gift your data from one to another one.

I misunderstood what shared meant then. 

 

Ive updated the app and gifted 20gb.

@Farra1981  If you have more than one device on your account at the bottom on the left of the app you see this.
