Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

I keep getting an error message saying server dns address could not be found when I try to use my mobile data to access the Internet on my Sony Xperia z5. My Facebook app and email app still works but when I try to access other Internet sites it comes up with this. How can I fix it please? Thank you

Re: Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

Hi Karen, Thank you for your speedy response! I have done this and so far so good! Hopefully it will continue to work as sometimes it drops in and out and doesn't consistently come up with the error message. Thanks again for your help. Smiley Very Happy

Hi Karen,
Unfortunately the issue is back. I have tried adding a new APN as last time again but it isn't working.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance
Mikaela

Re: Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

Hi Karen,

My connection issues seem to be back again. My Internet keeps dropping out unless I use WiFi. I tried doing what you recommended before again but that hasn't helped this time. Do you have any other advice please?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Mikael88

Have you tried booting the phone into Safe Mode and seeing if this helps with anything.

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

Hi Lee, I haven't tried that but I will and will let you know if I keep getting the issue. Do I need to keep it in safe mode or do I just need to do it once then go back to normal mode?
Thanks

Re: Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

Hi @Mikaela88

I would try it for a couple of hours in safe mode, then pop out of it.

Let me know how you get on.

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

Hi Lee, I have tried it on safe mode overnight and then gona back to normal and I am still having issues although now it is saying

unable to handle this request HTTP ERROR 503.

Do you know how to fix this?

Is this a phone issue or a network issue?

Thanks
Mikaela

Re: Server Dns address could not be found Sony Xperia z5

Morning @Mikaela88

Thanks for trying!

It could be either to be honest - I would be inclined to think it's a device issue.

If you can try your SIM in another phone and test accessing the internet - this will help rule out a device issue.

If it's still the same or you're unable to do this please give Customer Services a quick call and speak to one of the tech team.

Let us know how you get on!

Thanks - Karen. Smiley Happy
