so I brought myself a new iPhone Xs, previously on 6s. Love the phone so far but having issues with the WiFi on u underground also!
Called EE many times, first was an issue with the update to IOS 12 ..... then sent me password etc and did not work. Following this explained it was settings relating to IPV4 and IPV6 and to speak to Apple care. Did this and they explained, are you able to connect to WiFi at home and work and else where ... yes!! Need to go back to EE as it seems problem their end. Called EE today and, they are working on a fix due to high complaints received!
Should be be with a week..... fingers crossed.

Don’t be naive they’ve been “working on this issue” for a year now.
Give it a try on the solutions people mentioned here, or you will forever be without WiFi on the underground 🙂

I have not done the proposed solutions on here as I thought I would just give it a few days.
Today my phone connected to EE WiFi auto automatically and appears to have been fixed. Not sure if this is a EE fix or something else but I have had no problems with it today.
Hopefully this brings no more issues for me and for everyone else.
