Are there current problems with EE and the ability to us Facebook apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger) using mobile data?
*They suddenly stopped working (refreshing / updating) using mobile data.
*They work for me on wifi.
*I do not have a content lock on my EE app.
*They web browser versions aren't working either.

Could it be your Switching Content Lock OFF or ON ? It is switched on on new & upgraded contracts & seems to affect social sites.
