Hi @srichardson95

Are you on PAYG or pay monthly? If PAYG when was the last time you made a chargeable call or text?

How long have you owned the phone and did you get it from EE?

Thanks

Hi have u tried giving the sim a clean then putting back in phone start up then switch off again.  Check the sim hasn’t any damage cos they are sensitive if nothing phone 150 or start a live chat.  Or if phone is unlocked try another sim in it to rule out damage to inside the sim tray

Re: Phone keeps on saying 'searching' and won't connect to anything

@srichardson95  Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Setting.  The device will re boot and you’ll need to put your WiFi passwords back on the device after this.

Ahh so looks like the sim will be cut off as you haven’t used it for that long

Re: Phone keeps on saying 'searching' and won't connect to anything

You said it's been doing this for past 24 hours. What were you doing with it before then?

EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of chargeable non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

Re: Phone keeps on saying 'searching' and won't connect to anything

You don't just need to make a chargeable call to keep it alive. You could have just as well have topped-up and bought & used a pack. Have you?
