I have just got a iPhone 7+ and an EE sim early yesterday.
The phone does not seem to be able to get its data connection, its a couple of hours over the 24 hours i have had the phone in and connected now but when i try to use data it shows a message
" could not activate mobile data network, PDP authentication failure "
I have turned the phone off and on
I have reset the network settings via the general>reset>reset network settings
I have updated to latest ios version
I have reseated the sim
I have a carrier profile from what i can tell in the settings
I can make calls and send texts without any issues it just appears to be data that is affected.
Any advice would be appreciated, l am a little disappointed that my first couple of days of being EE i am facing issues.

@Northy91 Connect the device to iTunes on a PC and click restore.

@Northy91 Ok. Can you turn off wifi on the device and do a network reset. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
You will ned to put your wifi passwords back on the device when you need to connect to wifi but at the moment leave wifi off.

@Northy91 Just to check mobile data is enabled on the device?

mobile data is turned on
i have tried selecting another operator in my area which doesnt help
i have restarted the phone and reseated the sim again
Double checked the coverage for my area and i am supposed to be able to get 4GEE and the phone is showing max signal

@Northy91 it sounds like you might need to call customer services and ask them to reset you line.
