I am having an issue with network drops when using 4G on EE. I am using the new 4G WiFi router.
This is a constant issue from day one (past one month). I am not able to use this as it drops my VPN every 20mins which means I had to drop out of the office network and reconnect and I lose all my network sessions.
Its practically non-usable.
What can I do to fix the issue?

Does your connection drop if you arn't using the VPN?

Does it drop at exactly the same timeframe every time or roundabout 20 mins? If it's exactly the same time it suggests a problem with the VPN, maybe a key lifetime mismatch. The VPN logs should show why it disconnects.

Yes it drops around 17 mins sometime 21 mins on the 4G however I have a EE homebroadband (ADSL phone)as well. On the homebroadband over wifi the VPN stays up even for 24hrs.
So its not the VPN setting issue.
Its hard to notice without the VPN as other services will reconnect immediatly even Outlook or Skype. With HTTP you cant notice the network drops.

Thanks. I have been checking the logs with IT. They will update me on their findings.
It has been disconnecting me every 17 or 18 mins. Its the case since morning.
Now I have started testing the connection without the VPN. I can connect to Skype (business) over internet without VPN. I still see drops after 17-18 mins from the service.

Also, try a free VPN like OPera VPN (available in the usual app stores). See if that stays up for longer than 20 mins?
