My phone won't connect to the EE Network since last night.

At around 10:30pm last night, my mobile data suddenly stopped working, and I now have "No Service" on my Samsung Galaxy J5.

It's been the same all day today. I've tried searching for EE in the "Network Operators" section of the phone's settings, but to no avail, no networks whatsoever, either manually or automatically (Just came up with an error).

 

I have an iPad on the same EE contract, and it has no issues whatsoever connecting to mobile data on the EE network, so it's not a billing issue. I also checked on the Network Coverage checker to see if there were any signal problems in my area, and there's no issues there either.

I have also tried resetting my network settings to their default, and it's not fixed anything.

HI @ThePetWolf

Take your sim out turn your phone off and put your sim back again turn your phone back and check if it work you. 

Or if you have any other phone try that sim in another phone.

@ThePetWolf have you tried putting the phone sim in iPad to see if it works and vice versa?

@ThePetWolf or try clearing phone cache partition.

If that doesn't work hard reset the phone.

Just tried the sim on my old iphone 5C, and it works fine.

 

plugged the sim back into my phone and got less than 2 minutes of connectivity to the network, and it dropped again just now

gonna try wiping the cache partition now, see if it does anything...

Just cleared the cache partition on my phone, got about 30 seconds of network connectivity and it's back to square one.

@ThePetWolf   Have you tried giving the SIM card a wipe with a damp cloth.  Make sure it’s dry before you put it back in the device.

I had a decent network connection for a few minutes and it dropped as soon as I tried to send a WhatsApp message.

 

I've given the sim card a clean yeah and it's still causing me problems 😞

I see @tahirmian @Rogersdave771 and @Chris_B have helped you so far.

 

If the SIM card is working is another handset, then it could well be the handset.

 

I'd recommend either a quick call into our technical team or contact them via live chat and they will maybe run through some tests with you.
