My Mobile data isn’t working.

Yesterday, I took out a new contract with EE on an iPhone 7. Everything’s working fine apart from my mobile data. In the top left corner it says I have 4G but when I try and use the internet or Facebook or anything internet based it says I need to connect my 4G but I am connected. I’m so confused.

@GeorgiaShevill  Have you allowed the apps to use cellular data?  Look in Settings>Mobile Data and scroll down.  If the toggle is green then it can use mobile data.

Yes it’s green. But it still won’t let me send iMessage. I went into Safari and it said I’m not subscribed to a mobile data service.

Does the network status checker show any problems in your area?

 

Have you tried restarting your phone?

@GeorgiaShevill Under Mobile Data Options, try changing the Voice & Data options to something else?
