Can you try a network reset on the device?
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will remove any saved WiFi passwords.

This may be a totally wild guess, but I'm wondering if your social media apps aren't working, it could be another content lock issue, but please don't take my word for it, as said: this is a wild guess!!

You'll need to pop in to your online EE account and switch the content lock to STRICT and back OFF again! This should finally fix your issue with the social media app 🤞
