Mobile data working for safari and not apps?

Got iPhone 8 yesterday and the mobile data is only working on safari and not apps such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. 

It says “the operation couldn’t be completed. An SLL error has occurred to the server cannot be made”

Probably best in your online MyEE. Have a look at Switching Content Lock OFF or ON . Content Lock is reset ON with new & upgraded phones.

Log into your online account and deactivate content filter.

 

Also make sure you have activated data in your device.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Hi I don’t know if you’re still having this problem, but I have been myself for about a week now on iphone 8 also. I fixed it by doing this though

 

settings>mobile data>scroll down>reset statistics, my data started working properly straight away dont know about anyone else. hope this helped
