Hi I’ve just bought an IPhone 7 secondhand. I’ve also picked up a new pay as you go sim/data pack. I can make calls and send texts but when I switch mobile data on, the 4G symbol appears at the top of the screen but I cannot connect to the internet or Facebook etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated

@DaveE90 On the device go to Settings>General>Profile and if there is one delete it then restart the device.

Short of what you've already tried, check for ios updates and reset the network settings if required -
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

I think it’s for the latest iOS already but I will check that now. And I’ve done the network settings one twice now but nothing. Would the fact I updated/uploaded my iCloud backup from my old phone, before I inserted the new sim have anything to do with it? Just a thought? Thanks

Reset the phone to factory but still nothing ? My EE says I have still got the full 5GB I paid for and haven’t used anything. So annoying lol

If you go into Settings > Mobile Data > Is this turned on?
Also, if you can scroll down within Mobile Data Settings, does Safari show as on for using data?
