Mobile data not working

Hi, hoping someone can help.

Recently I've been having some issued regarding my data not working some days it does others it doesn't. I can't use majority of my apps when out and about and can't use the internet (says you are offline) but WhatsApp messages still come through. This is happening quite a lot recently is there anything I can do to get my data working full time? None of my apps are restricted and data is turned on. My phone is a Samsung S7 its up to date on updates and it's a personal contract

  • Make sure data is active and you haven't set and restrictions (settings, data) 
  • Are you using power save? 
  • Are you using any apps/services blocking your connection like lookout? 
  • Have you tried factory resetting, if this doesn't work you may need to try a new sim.
