Max plans

Anyone know if Sim Only Max Plans are to be offered soon (without the encumbrance of a phone as is the current situation) as I understand it was the case in the past?

Re: Max plans

Very unlikely sorry as EE only refreshed their SIM only plans last month.  That refresh included removing Max SIM only plans for new customers.

Also when EE remove something from their plans, it’s usually gone for good as well.

Re: Max plans

Thank you. Sad that, may have to move on then EE's loss not mine. I've been with them (Orange previously) since 1995.

Re: Max plans

Unlikely, but buy an ordinary SIM-Only & then text GO FURTHER to 150 @ £10 / month for a min. 6 months to get the roaming in the 5 extra non-EU countries. See Go Further Roaming Add-on .

Re: Max plans

Just have a problem with the 6 month commitment though. No good if you are just going away for a couple of weeks or so is it?

Re: Max plans

You'd be surprised! A week's unlimited Talk & Text and 40 MB / day data add-ons in USA costs 7 x (£6 + £4) = £70.

Re: Max plans

It may be a good deal @XRaySpeX, it just doesn't seem to be a good deal. Go to the USA for a week, keep paying for something you aren't using again for 25 more weeks.

Of course for some it will work well, but compared to the older plans, it's not great value.
