Lost 4G?

Hi All

 

i have had a 4G sim for some time now that has stopped receiving 4G, it will only connect to 3G. Have tried the sim in other phones and still the same. Logged on my EE say I have a 4G contract still. I have put my wife's sim in my phone full 4G signal, so it's the sim/EE that the issue.

 

any ideas

I have tested download speeds and I get 18m which suggests I have 4g but the uploads speed is only 1m could this be why it show only 4g?

What handset are you using?

 

Something as simply as turning the handset off and then back on again can often sort these sort of issues out.

It a iPad Air. I have switched it off and on as srevious post I have put the sim in a phone and same results 3G only. I have also reset network setting several times. Not a area issue because I have an EE phone with full 4g.

It certainly sounds like it's something related to the SIM.

 

Is it a pay monthly or pay as you go SIM card?
