Issues downloading photos on 4g

I have noticed for the last few months when using 4g, I am unable to download photos on whatsapp or access fb and Instagram.....I haven't changed any of my settings 😞 and its really starting to frustrate me!! All work fine on wifi? Any ideas please?

@Laineyj1 : Could be your Switching Content Lock OFF or ON . It is switched on on new & upgraded contracts & seems to affect social sites. If just switching it OFF doesn't help, try switching it to STRICT, reboot your device and then switching it to OFF. That is seeming to do the trick.

Thank you will try, it shows it's off.....but will change it to strict and then back again! 🙂

My content lock is off, as my husband is the bill.payer he controls this for some reason! The phone has already been sent back to EE to fix the problem but has come back without a fix! So I'm a bit flummoxed on what has caused it?

Have you tried switching your content lock from off to strict and back to off?

 

If you can restart your device and see if this works for you.

Because my husband pays the bill he controls this....need to try and change this somehow! I know the settings are not restricted.....but need to swap them over!

Your husband can change this within his My EE account online > Account Settings.

Changing Content lock when I'm not the bill payer

Hi, 

 

May not have posted this in the correct area, but hope someone can help???

 

My husband is the bill payer so controls my content lock on my phone, however he has no details of my phone showing on his account! 

 

How do I control my own phone?  lol as I need to change the settings to see if there is a problem with 4g when out and about!

Do you have a My EE account?

 

If so, can you log into your My EE online > Account Settings

 

Can you change from bill payer? This will only change your My EE settings.

 

If not, your husband can give us a call and we will be able to help with your content lock 🙂
