I have max plan but phone not working in Oz. Help please!

Took out max plan and upgraded phone 3 weeks ago. Was told would work automatically on arrival in Oz and I need do nothing.....it doesn’t. Keep getting EE messages re Roaming charges but unable to access data or my monthly allowance as I was promised. Help please! Many thanks!

Did you activate roaming on your MyEE a/c before you left? Presumably not. Having a roaming allowance does not auto enable it. You may still be able to in your online a/c under Manage Devices. If not, you will need to call EE. Use the landline nos. in my sig.

Surely roaming should be automatically enabled on a max plan. That's what I was told and is certainly the case for me?

Our customer services team will be able to help remove the international bars or activate Roaming if this is required.

 

I recommend logging into your My EE account on your phone's browser (not the app) or a computer.

 

Once you're logged in, a chat window will pop up when an advisor is available.

 

If you can't get in contact with chat, please get in touch from an alternative phone.
