I have just got a sharing sim for my iPad and I can only get 3G not 4G

  • I have just got a sharing sim for my iPad. It only is picking up 3G not 4G unless, of course I’m in the EE shop. Bottom line is I can’t get an internet connection. Does anybody recognise these symptoms. Thanks.

You can still do Internet over 3G.

What does it say about your data when you browse to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status when not connected to WiFi?

Really, then why will my iPad not connect to the net? I may move everything back to Vodaphone with which I have no problem.

Hi @doctor-t,

Welcome to the EE Community.

Are you in a 4G area? You can use the coverage checker to confirm.

If you are, please can you see if the network status checker shows any problems in your area.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks

James
