I have a data sim and require the USSD code to use it, how do I find this out?

I am using the data sim in a raspberry pi and need the USSD code to connect

I am not familiar with USSD codes what is the need for this type of code?

Unstructured Supplementary Service Data

 

In non technical terms it's a code that tells a network to do something (that's particular to that network). eg. A network might respond  *#147# with a message giving the number of the last caller. Also sometimes used to give account balance.

 

(In a bit more detail - a subset of MMI codes. Unlike the codes for setting diverts etc, USSD are not standardised and specific to the host network if supported at all.)

 

The OP would need to say what the code is needed for.
