Help with TP-Link MR400 and EE 4GEE sim.

Hi,

im really struggling with connecting to the EE network with a TP-Link MR400 (Archer).  I can connect with my 4GEE box but I can’t with the TP-Link.

I have seen other people have this problem but couldn’t find a solution.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

What does the connection status say?

That all? Are there no other settings regarding the connection? Like APN? Explore!

Re: Help with TP-Link MR400 and EE 4GEE sim.

I see you've tried IPv4. Try IPv6.

What are the other APN Types?

Re: Help with TP-Link MR400 and EE 4GEE sim.

I have also tried with IPv6 and it didn’t connect either.

APN choices are Static and Dynamic.  I have tried dynamic but didn’t seem to help.

Is it possible the EE sim is locked to that device?

No, but it's possible TP-Link is locked to another network. Where did you get it?

Re: Help with TP-Link MR400 and EE 4GEE sim.

It was from Amazon. It works with Virgin and Three with other sims I have tried. I have reset many times and updated to the latest firmware.

Re: Help with TP-Link MR400 and EE 4GEE sim.

So, I have just bought a pay as you go sim from EE, popped it in and works straight away. I think it must be a problem at EE’s end with that particular SIM card / network.

These are the setting for the new sim and all works fine.
