EE cannot connect to Dyndns Since last Friday

Hi

Since last Friday my phone nor my wife's can connect to our CCTV which uses dyndns to resolve the address.

It works fine on my friends phone who's on a different network.

Any ideas? I've already reset the network settings.

Thanks

Hi @MWoodward1971.

Welcome to the community 🙂

What phone are you using?

Before Friday was this working fine?

Re: EE cannot connect to Dyndns Since last Friday

Hi.

The phone is an s7 edge, but it also is happening on my wife's s8 and son's s9 so I don't think it's the phone.

Interestingly, if I turn my phone into a hotspot and use a vpn connection it works fine. If I don't use a vpn, the the same happens.

This would suggest that there is some sort of DNS issue on the EE servers.

Good Morning @MWoodward1971.

Thank you for confirming this.

Have you spoke with our technical support team?

Hi

No, not yet. Was hoping that there would be a resolution on here first.

Hi @MWoodward1971

Thanks for the prompt response.

Unfortunately we do not have account access here so I would recommend speaking with the technical team to get a resolution.

Let me know how you get on 🙂
