EE Data Network - Port 5060 (SIP)

Hello,

I have a problem where I can't get to my SIP server on port 5060 via 4G/data on EE.

The port is open on the server and it works fine via wifi, but on EE data it doesn't work. I have just spoken to support who didn't have a clue what I was talking about, but said they weren't blocking anything.

It's worked for years, but today it's not.

Any ideas?

On what network is the SIP server running?

You mean it just stopped overnight w/out anything else changing? Probably a glitch that'll go away soon.

It appears to be working correctly now.

The phone can register on the phone system and can make a call.

Cheers.

Hi, I am experencing a similar issue. The VoIP client (using SIP 5060) is registered fine on our server, but incoming calls fails when on the 3G/4G connection, wi-fi works well. Hope this is a temporary issue which will be solved shortly. Great to hear an update on this.

@pacpac2018  Have you tried restarting the device?

Yep, both hard-reset and turn off/on. Also, tried to remove the VoIP client profile and provisioned the config again. Issue remains.

@pacpac2018: Have you opened port 5060 on your client side?

What device is running over the EE mobile network?

The VoIP client is installed on an iPhone 8 (latest iOS).
