Does wifi use my data

I have a T-mobile pack where I get 3GB data to use over 30 days, plus 500 mins, and unlimited texts... I've barely used the mobile data as I have been connected to WiFi. I had to switch to mobile data last night, and within a few minutes had a text saying I've used 80% of my fair use allowance... Does the 3GB include WiFi?!

Re: Does wifi use my data

No, when you are on WiFi you are not using mobile data and it will not use up your pack allowance.

Good Afternoon @RhianT

@XRaySpeX is correct, your mobile data will not be used when connected to a WiFi connection.

What is the make and model of your phone?
