Data not loading certain things



i recently changed to a sim sim only contract after paying off my iPhone X. It’s a 100GB data SIM plan.


the data worked fine for a few weeks, but now, the data will only load certain things.


things such as snapchat, Facebook, messenger, Instagram, mail and other apps, won’t actually load as though the data isn’t working.


i have tried all manner of network resets, data is turned on for all apps, roaming is on, I’ve tried it on 3G and not 4G but nothing works.


this is kinda stressful when I’m paying for 100GB data but can’t use any of it for the things I want.


any idea how to fix this?

There are numerous threads on this topic. 


Go into your myEE app - settings -content lock. Change this to off and then restart your device. 


It  should work now.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.
