On the iPhone can you try a network reset,
Go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Then try and connect to Safari and let me know what happens 🙂

What happens when you try and use the internet?
Do you get an error message or a pop up to buy more data?
Are you able to make calls and send texts ok?

Are you able to try your sim any other unlock Phone? And also try to Update your carrier settings on your iPhone.
