Just registered ee sum two weeks ago bought a data pack. Not letting me on internet outside and when using 150 to call for help its saying in not an ee customer. Is it because it is payg, bought it for my sons b'day two weeks ago and only have 15 days left of data pack that can't even be used

Hi sim card was bought in Argos definitely a paygo ee sim the phone that wasn't locked to any network when bought. No other sim card has been used in phone. It allowed me to top up with ee voucher and gets incoming calls and texts

Brand new ee pay and go sim out the packet.
Bought voucher from shop and applied.
On ee account it's showing that pack has been applied but. Still has 3gb of data

Thank I'll try again tonight does anyone know what option to press when you get through. I have tried internet and technical and I get the same message serch device online and then it hangs up.
Went into store today and no one could help me
I feel like if someone that works in storecan't help then who can
