Can I give some data to another person

I recently upgraded my phone and now have more data than I need. The sales assistant said I would be able to give some data to my husband on an ad hoc basis... but I think he said this feature was coming soon.  Has anyone else heard of this.

No it hasn't arrived yet unless you are on a shared plan.
