Are there parental controls on mobile data(4G) use

Sometime when I try to connect to a website that has the letter SEX in the web address EE wont let  me connect even though they are NOT sex sites. Is EE censoring mobile useage?

@JOHNJORDAN1   That’s exactly what it is.  It’s called online safety as children do get mobile phone/tablets and I’m sure their parents don’t want them looking at over 18 material

If you wish to remove this content block just call customer services and you’ll need a credit/dept card to pay a refundable token.   Or go to a EE store with ID.

Hello @JOHNJORDAN1,

Welcome to the community,

Have you checked by logging into your account on the website and clicking on Menu and then Manage Device you can then see whether you have full, moderate or strict data control, if you are allowed to check this out, if you are managing your device.

Hi @JOHNJORDAN1

Welcome to the community.

As @Schockwave said, we have three levels of safeguards.

You can find more information about how each level works on our content lock help and support page.
