Apple Watch Series 3 Data not working

Received my new Apple Watch Series 3 this morning, been trying ever since to connect my Mobile Data. Apple Watch App stating this account is not ready for Apple Watch. I’m a pay monthly customer, also paying an extra £25 per month for a Watch that only partly functions.
