Activate roaming whilst abroad

Im abroad in the EU , and my phone cant get service, and I realise now I didnt activate the roaming ! I am relying on sketchy wifi for navigation and banking , is there any way to get this sorted whilst Im here? Help me ObiWan , you’re my only hope...

Hi,

 

Are you registered for MyEE to manage your account? 

 

If if you have, you can enable roaming via MyEE. You can see the setting under “Manage Device”.

Thanks for coming to the community.

 

@winston is correct, if you log into your My EE account online

 

Then go to Menu > Manage Device > Call Abroad and Premium Rate and also Roaming > They will both need to show as ticked for you to use your phone abroad.

 

They can take up to 24 hours to activate.

Thanks for the suggestion but I can’t seem to get into my account ! I’ve had the below issue persistently for he last two days , from browsers and apps, over multiple devices !

If you are unable to log into your My EE account, you would need to give us a call so we can activate roaming on your account. 

 

If you can call us from another phone on +44 (0) 7953 966 250.
