Access denied

Neither my husband or I are able to access Virgin Atlantic website on 4g. We can in WiFi, any idea why? Or how we can fix it. We are trying g to check in fir a flight

@Kala1  Can you click >THIS< when connected to a cellular signal and tell me what happens.

@chistery   Do you have network restrictions in place on your account?

 

This works for me as you can see.

Others are reporting on other forum and twitter the same issue, with Virgin saying they are investigating.

@Kala1 If you're in urgent need, download a VPN application like Opera VPN, which is free. You can connect to Virgin Atlantic when using Opera VPN.

 

Always good to have a VPN application on your phone just in case too.

Still says access denied. Friends in EE can’t access either so obvs a wider problem :-((

If Virgin say they are investigating @Kala1 then hopefully they will have this back up and running in no time for you.

From others that are saying what network they are on, it's only EE customers that are affected. Probably a flaky nameserver that's giving out stale answers.

Please report this into our technical team and the other people affected need to do so as well please.

 

I've had no other reports here so if you can advise others affected to call us, then the right team may be able to look into this at our end.

Currently at 36000ft heading towards The US. Won’t be back in EE 3G or 4g for a couple if weeks so for me hopefully fixed by then, Virgin Atlantic is a website I use regularly so it is a new problem. 🤞🏼 Fixed soon
