I never use all of my 7gb of data each month and two weeks in its all gone so I purchased another 1gb and that went within a day!! And I've hardly used my phone and don't ha e many apps! Any suggestions

Hello @Xabbyx22x does your devices data counter match how much has been used? Have there been any auto updates recently such as upgrading your phones firmware or large apps etc? 🙂

Are you by any chance streaming content i.e. Netflix, YouTube or anything like that?
Do you watch movies?
listen to music?
Or are you a heavy user of social media?
Do you make sure that you close your App's down when not in use?

No I don't listen to any music or use YouTube ect and the only social sites I use is Facebook and whatsapp but Ive never used all my data before and I've not used it more than I normally do :/. And yes I close down unused programs. I did have an firmware upgrade but was done over WiFi.

To use this much data so quickly is something that needs looked at.
Can you please get in touch with us and the guys at customer services can look into this for you.

Do you allow tethering to your phone or have you allowed tethering?
Also does anyone else have access to your phone.
Did you check under settings - data (depending on your phone) to establish what apps were using the most data?

in addition to the above suggestions, what phone have you got? If it's an iPhone, check out this post detailing how to ensure your iPhone won't automatically switch from WiFi to mobile data without your knowledge:
There is a similar setting in WiFi->Advanced if you're using Android.
