4g not working

 I have a 4gEE SIM, but it does not provide me with 4g at all on my S7, does anyone know why?

To make sure your 4G is switched on, please follow these steps:-

 

Tap Settings >>> Mobile Networks >>> Network Mode >>> 2G/3G/4G (auto)

 

Can you connect to data services using 2G/3G?

Hello @Mhdcharlie,

 

Welcome to the community,

 

4G will only work where you can get 4G, so if you are in an area where there is no 4G signal, you will not get it.

Yes, but my family and friends are receiving 4g (they have a 4gEE SIM and we are in the same location)

Is data active on  your phone? 

 

Can  you download the settings from here to ensure the ones on your phone are correct.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

@Christopher_G thank you, it turns out it was on WCDMA/GSM auto-connect not LTE/WCDMA/GSM auto-connect
