4G not working

I just got home this morning fomr visitng my family in Australia.

I had a new phone that i put my EE sim in. Everything works fine except i can't get any 4G anywhere. This means I have been unable to reactivate many of my apps because I can't receive text messages.

I have tried absolutely everything.

taking out sim, resetting network settings, restarting phone, updating all my apps, closing all my apps.

it has been on SOS only since 7am, all the way from the airport to my place, so it has nothing to do with the location.

HELP

What new phone did you get?

 

Where was the new phone purchased.

 

If you can't get 4G but 2 or 3G still you should still receive text messages.

  • Is the phone new or second hand?
  • Can you call/text?

Hi @sarahwalters28

 

I recommend you to give our customer services a quick call to double check the IMEI.

 

So we can rule out if the handset has been blacklisted for lost/stolen which would show similar symptoms to what you have mentioned.
