4G Calling

If I have 4G calling enabled on my device, what happens if I ring someone on another network that's not on 4G, or they ring me? Will I still be able to speak to them over 4G or would it be 3G?

Re: 4G Calling

Would the quality of the call still be 4G though, or would it be 3G quality, despite the phone saying 4G?

Re: 4G Calling

It makes no difference what network tech the other person uses, in the same way you can call someone on an landline using 4G calling.

I believe HD voice only works on 4G / WiFi calls to other 4G / Wifi calls on EE only.

I think 4G calls to 3G calls on any other network (including EE) are standard voice qualify.

HD voice now works on 3G to 3G calls across all networks now though apparently.
